Inside the 1%

This article shows the leaked memo of a lobbying firm to the American Bankers Association telling of its ideas and strategies to stomp out the Occupy Wall Street movement and its supporters and to continue the political support for the bankers. Although technically biased against the Republicans, the article says how the political right in America want to support the bankers while at the same time, since it’s a political year, distance themselves from these very same people. I hate to say it’s biased, but it is because one would be naïve to think Obama and the left for the most part, hasn’t supported these guys at one point or another just to get monetary gain and political support. The scary thing is how long has this been going on for? The lack of morals in politics just to remain in power has unfortunately gone on virtually forever. This is somewhat relevant to class in the sense that it’s a monopoly of who gets and keeps all the wealth and power in America - which has been seen all throughout US history. It’ll be interesting to see what happens next now that the bankers’ card has been shown. The direct memo can be located here.
