Economy improving but job growth still weak

This article relates to economic growth and employment. Data showed that the US factories have expanded over the less few months. Both retail and auto sales have also grown. Despite the UC economy is picking up, the employment growth is still lagging behind. “The number of people applying for unemployment benefits is still too high to signal strong hiring.” The unemployment rate is still around 9% even thought there were a net of 125,000 jobs created. Companies still have concerns over the future economic growth, government regulation and the debt crisis in Europe. These concerns may contribute to the lag of job growth.
