The sky's the limit

In china, women have the most opportunities in job fields among the East Asian countries. Forty-six percent of Chinese women make up Chinese's labor force, which is a higher proportion than Western countries. Because they now are more willing to get higher education and move to urban sides than country sides. However, Chinese women still feel that they are being discriminated in the work. They are supposed to take care of the family members - kids and elderly - without having advantages for it, also they still feel that their wage increase than men's this. Therefore, Chinese women now are willing to choose not to work if their husbands have a good paid job. As we learn in the class, increase in women's education leads more opportunities for women, but they still don't get paid as much as men do. Especially, women who are married more likely to choose to take the birth control pill due to the worry after they get a baby.
